I’m a father, now a grandfather, and this store is a tribute to the memories we’ve made as a family. From long nights fishing off Packery Channel in Corpus Christi, to forgetting the air pump at Braunig Lake and figuring it out with grit and laughter — every trip became a story.

We’ve huddled together through Texas thunderstorms at Canyon Lake, telling stories as the tent shook in the wind but never gave in. The next morning, the clouds cleared and we were blessed with sunshine and a perfect day on the water. That’s what this store is built on — those quiet, powerful moments that stick with you for life.

CFC was born out of a love for these adventures and a desire to make them easier, more comfortable, and more meaningful for others. Whether it’s your first time out or your hundredth, we’ve handpicked gear that works — because we’ve been there.
